Vancouver, B.C. – More than 600 forest industry leaders, government officials, local government and Indigenous leaders will attend COFI’s 2021 Virtual Convention on Thursday, April 8, 2021, from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm. The conference will explore issues facing the B.C. and Canadian forest sectors, such as trade with United States, reconciliation with Indigenous communities, and forest policy.

The agenda includes opening remarks by Hon. Katrine Conroy, Minister of Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations & Rural Development, a keynote address by Kirsten Hillman, Canada’s Ambassador to the United States, and a closing keynote address by Hon. John Horgan, Premier of British Columbia.
