Industry and government leaders from across British Columbia gathered for COFI’s 2017 Annual Convention, held for the first time in Vancouver, to discuss the key issues and opportunities facing the BC forest industry today and into the future.

Not surprisingly, there was much interest and discussion about the upcoming softwood lumber duties. But, amidst the uncertainty there was an underlying tone of optimism and opportunity in discussions about sector innovation, international market shares, and sustainability and climate change.

We look forward to more lively discussion, networking and a trade show next year in Prince George, from April 4-6, 2018.
