Vancouver, B.C. – The BC Council of Forest Industries (COFI) and Canadian Forest Industries (CFI) Magazine have announced the winners of the 4th annual Forestry Photo Contest.

“We look forward to this photo contest every year, and the submissions never fail to impress,” said Susan Yurkovich, President and CEO, COFI. “This year was no different. We received photographs from all across the province that show the diversity and beauty of our forests and forest products. Thank you to all entrants and congratulations to the prize recipients.”

From October to December 2019, participants from across British Columbia submitted photos that show the many ways forests and forest products are present in our everyday lives.

Of the 93 submissions received, 10 photos have been selected to appear in print, in the January – February edition of CFI magazine, with the top photo featured on the cover.

The top photo winner will also receive a $500 gift card to Canadian Tire, and three other winning photographers will receive a $75 Canadian Tire gift card and have their photos featured in the magazine.

All submitted photos and winning photos can be viewed online here.
